About Christina
Dr. Christina Bloem is a Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Director of the International Division of the Department of Emergency Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center/Kings County Hospital. She completed an International Emergency Medicine Fellowship and a Masters in Public Health at George Washington University. Dr. Bloem completed her Emergency Medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is a founding member and President of the nonprofit EMEDEX International. She has worked abroad in Haiti, Brazil, Peru, Guyana, Cote d’Ivoire, India, Turkey, and Qatar. Dr. Bloem is a budding real estate investor with the goal to double her net worth in the next 2 years! She spends her free time traveling the world with her family, salsa dancing, snowboarding, and eating delicious food. Dr. Bloem’s life mission is to engage in transformative experiences, continuously elevate her family’s quality of life, and to impact as many people’s lives positively as possible.
